Managing your Bins and Waste Services

Managing your waste services has never been easier with our new digital portal. Create a free account to access all your bin and waste services in one convenient place.

What you can do online

Through your personal waste account, you can:

  • Check your bin collection days: View your collection schedule in our easy calendar format, so you never miss a bin day again
  • Report issues quickly: Let us know about missed collections, lost or damaged bins and track your reports
  • Manage garden waste: Subscribe to our garden waste service, renew your subscription, or add extra bins
  • Request assisted collections: Apply for help if you’re unable to move your bins to the collection point
  • Manage multiple properties: Add up to three properties to one account, perfect for landlords or those helping relatives and neighbours

Getting started is simple

Creating your account takes just a few minutes. You’ll need:

  • Your email address
  • Your property address
  • Your postcode

Once registered, you’ll have 24/7 access to all your waste services from any device.

Recycling information

  • Always rinse your glass bottles/jars, cans, plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays and foil trays, as we cannot recycle any items containing food waste
  • Ensure all items are placed loose inside the blue and brown wheeled bins, as plastic bags can’t be recycled
  • Household batteries can be recycled in a battery bag or a clear sandwich bag. Please place on top of the blue or brown bin for collection
  • Visit www.fylde.gov.uk/whichbin for a full list of recyclable items

Alternative ways to recycle garden waste

  • Garden waste can be composted at home. Lancashire County Council offers a home composting scheme, for further information and to purchase a home composter please visit www.getcomposting.com
  • Garden waste can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre on Saltcotes Road, Lytham
