Fylde residents struggling with the cost of living are urged to take advantage of the wide range of support available. 

Assistance and advice on numerous cost of living related issues – from food and benefits to household bills and mental health support – are available through Fylde Council, Citizens Advice Fylde, and other local and national partners.  

Cllr Chris Dixon, Lead Member for Social Wellbeing, said: “We’re keenly aware that the cost of living remains high, particular in terms of food and energy prices, and that this continues cause further hardship for Fylde residents, particularly families with young children and those already classed as vulnerable. 

“That’s why we’ve created a one-stop resource to help anyone who is struggling to find the support they need, whether that’s guidance on managing debt, help accessing health services, or advice on their housing situation.”

Household Support Fund payments are available for eligible households via Citizens Advice Fylde towards the cost of food, energy and water, incuding related essentials. For more information, visit the Household Support Fund page on the Fylde Council website.
