The plan is ‘made’
On 24 May 2017 Fylde Borough Council agreed to make the Bryning with Warton Neighbourhood Plan under 38A(4)(a) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. The Saint Anne’s on The Sea Neighbourhood Plan now forms part of the Development Plan for Fylde Borough Council.

A Referendum took place on Thursday 4 May 2017, the question posed to voters read:
Do you want Fylde Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Bryning with Warton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
90% of voters cast in favour of the Bryning with Warton Neighbourhood Development Plan being ‘made’.
The Bryning with Warton Neighbourhood Development Plan was independently examined by Mr Nigel McGurk in March/April 2016.
Following on from the Independent Examiner’s Report, and after careful consideration Fylde Council in agreement with Bryning with Warton Parish Council and Neighbourhood Steering Group have taken the decision to accept the Examiner’s modifications and proceed the Bryning with Warton Neighbourhood Development Plan to Referendum.
Submission Consultation and Publicity
Bryning-with-Warton Parish Council submitted their Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documentation to the Local Planning Authority on 23 September 2014. A copy of the Submission Version of the Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documentation are available below.

The seven week public consultation into the Submission Version of the Neighbourhood Plan commenced on 9 October 2014 and closed on 28 November 2014.
Pre Submission Consultation and Publicity
Bryning-with-Warton Parish Council undertook a six week public consultation on their Pre-submission Neighbourhood Plan. The consultation commenced on 9 July 2014 and closed on 20 August 2014. A copy of the Pre-submission version of the Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documentation are available below.
Neighbourhood Area Application
Bryning-with-Warton Parish Council submitted a Neighbourhood Area application to Fylde Council. The application related to the whole parish.
The public consultation on the Neighbourhood Area application closed on 4 October 2013. The Statement of Consultation provides a summary of all responses received.
The Neighbourhood Area was approved on the 25 October 2013.
