The Lancashire Resilience Forum has recently given the thumbs up to the Fylde Community Hub following a visit last week.

The council set up the community hub to support the isolated and lonely residents of the Borough who do not have friends, family or neighbours to assist during the period of isolation required as a result of the Coronavirus. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers we have been able to continue running the Hub on bank holidays and will be doing so on the forthcoming May Day bank holiday which falls on Friday 9th May this year.

Fylde Councillor Ben Aitken visited the Fylde Community Hub on Wednesday 15th April and thanked everyone involved for their help and support during these unprecedented times.

If you or someone you know needs support from our Community Hub please contact us on 01253 658448, or visit our dedicated Community Support page

We can help with arranging for shopping to be picked up or just keeping in touch with a friendly call.

The hub opening hours are:

  • 9am-8pm Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
  • 11am-3pm Saturday – Sunday
  • 11am-3pm Bank holidays
