Following the cancellation of the St Annes Kite Festival in August due to severe weather warnings, we are delighted to announce that the Kite Festival has been rescheduled! The festival will take place on the 6th, 7th and 8th September.

This incredible event will start off with a bang on Friday evening, with illuminated ‘kites by night’ and a fireworks display delivered by Titanium Fireworks, what better way to start off this spectacular event!

Taking place on the beach adjacent to St Anne’s Pier, the event will attract tens of thousands of visitors from all over the country to see unique kites of all different shapes and sizes.

Throughout the weekend there will be so much to do and see including live music, fun fair rides and much more!

Cllr Cheryl Little, Chair of the Tourism and Leisure Committee, said “The weekend of 6th, 7th and 8th September will see the skies above St Anne’s on Sea filled with colourful kites in a range of shapes and sizes. The Kite Festival is a free event, which was rescheduled due to adverse weather earlier this year and is considered one of the biggest kite festivals in the world. The Festival will have family entertainment from fireworks on Friday night to stalls and teddy parachuting which makes it a go to event for all the family”
