Celebrating local sport and active lifestyles!

The Fylde Active Community Awards are back for 2023, giving sporting and wellbeing heroes their chance to shine.

The exciting awards recognise people, clubs and organisations that go above and beyond in sport and activity in the community.

Hosted by Fylde Council’s Sports Development Team, entries open on Thursday 22nd June and close on Friday 21st July

The shortlist will be published on Thursday 17th August and a glittering awards ceremony will take place at Ribby Hall Village on Saturday 30th September with BBC Radio Lancashire’s John Gilmore as compere.

Ian Brookes, Sports Development Officer at Fylde Council, said: “We are thrilled to be once again celebrating sport and activity on the Fylde again.

“The awards returned last year after a two-year break due to the pandemic and it was wonderful to see everyone come together and celebrate the achievements of local people involved in sport and other activities.

“We would like to encourage as many clubs, organisations and individuals to get involved – you have to be in it to win it!”
