Fylde Council has commenced a Partial Review of the Fylde Local Plan to 2032 (FLP32). The Partial Review will address two objectives; revising plans to reflect policy changes that the National Planning Policy Framework 2019 has made and examining the issue of Wyre’s unmet housing need, which was a commitment in the FLP32 and precondition of the Inspector finding the FLP32 sound.
The Publication Version of the Partial Review of the FLP32 is being published for a 6-week consultation which commences on the 23rd July 2020 and finishes at 5pm on the 3rd September 2020.
Representations are invited on the Partial Review of the FLP32, which is the version of the Local Plan which the Council wishes to adopt to ensure the Plan remains in line with national policy. The process is undertaken in order to ensure the FLP32 is and remains up to date.
Previously, the Council consulted on the scope of the Partial Revision of the FLP32, and representations received on that consultation have been considered in producing the Publication Version. Following this consultation, the FLP32 will be submitted to the Secretary of State for Examination in Public.
The consultation and associated documents, including the technical assessments and the Draft Statement of Common Ground are available to view on our website here. It is also available to view at the Town Hall, St Annes Road West, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1LW.

A mutually agreeable time will be arranged for you to arrive at the Town Hall to view the documents in a meeting room close to the reception area. All appointments will be carried out in accordance with COVID19 guidelines. Unfortunately, this means that there will be no face to face appointments, but a phone number will be provided so that you can speak to a Planning Officer if required.
