New Fylde Mayor, Councillor Richard Redcliffe, has taken up the role of first citizen of Fylde in a ceremony held on Wednesday 13 May 2026.
The representative for Ansdell and Fairhaven was officially installed as successor to Councillor Frank Andrews at the Annual Meeting of the Council, held at Lowther Pavilion.
Councillor Richard Redcliffe declared that his chosen charities for his term of office would be Fylde Foodbank, Girlguiding Kilgrimol Centre and The League of Friends of Clifton Hospital.
