The Fylde Shop Local loyalty card scheme, generously supported by the UK Government through Fylde’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, is going from strength to strength.
Launched in September 2023, the initiative has proven to be a resounding success in boosting local businesses and rewarding loyal customers.
Designed to encourage residents to support their local high streets, the scheme offers customers a physical loyalty card when they spend over £5 at any participating shop, cafe, or service provider in Kirkham, Lytham, and St Annes. Each purchase earns a stamp on the card, and once it’s full, customers enter a quarterly prize draw with the chance to win High Street vouchers worth £150, £75, or £50. The next exciting draw will take place on Friday, 30 August, with the final draw of the year scheduled for Friday, 29 November.
Leader of Fylde Council, Councillor Karen Buckley said: “The Shop Local scheme has grown from strength to strength since its introduction. Thank you to everyone taking part; you are helping to keep our high street alive. Customer loyalty is key to ensuring the success of our local businesses which strengthens our local economy.”
By uniting local businesses, the Shop Local scheme fosters a strong sense of community and pride in Fylde’s vibrant town centres. It encourages businesses to offer exclusive rewards to loyal customers, while inspiring residents to explore the diverse range of shops, cafes, and services on their doorstep.
