Fylde Council wishes to issue a clarification to the press release published on 3 April 2025 titled “Fylde Council Secures Further Household Support Funding for 2025.”

The original release stated that Fylde Council had been allocated an indicative sum of £596,000 under the Government’s seventh round of the Household Support Fund (HSF7). We can confirm that Fylde Council has now received an allocation of £201,431.00 from Lancashire County Council for HSF7.

Additionally, the press release referenced £56,000 as being specifically designated for the Affordable Warmth Scheme. We would like to clarify that this figure was an indicative amount presented in a committee report, and although accepted by the Council at the time, the final confirmed funding allocation of £201,431.00 does not include any provision for Affordable Warmth. As such, the Affordable Warmth Scheme is not currently open for new applications under HSF7.

We apologise for any confusion caused. Fylde Council remains committed to providing clear and accurate updates regarding support schemes and will issue further information as it becomes available.
