Residents across Fylde can now enjoy a faster, simpler way to access council services online, after the Council launched an exciting upgrade to its website.
The new Digital Front Door, built in-house by the Council’s own digital team, transforms the way people interact with the Council online. At its heart is a brand-new search-first experience, meaning residents can simply type what they’re looking for and get straight to the right service, without having to navigate complicated menus or scroll through pages. Whether you’re paying a bill, reporting a problem or looking for local information, the new website is designed to get you there quickly and effortlessly.
The upgrade also ensures the website is fully accessible to everyone in our community, meeting the highest accessibility standards, and has been built to be secure, scalable and ready for the future – including the changes ahead for local government in Lancashire.
A spokesperson for Fylde Council said: “We want every resident to feel confident using our website, and this upgrade makes that a reality. It’s a fantastic step forward for how we serve our community digitally, and I’m delighted that our own team has delivered something we can all be proud of.”
