Lancashire Volunteer Partnership (LVP) and the NHS are looking for volunteer Marshals to assist at COVID vaccination sites across Lancashire and South Cumbria. This is your opportunity to do your part in helping your community protect themselves and their loved ones from coronavirus.

Anyone aged 16 years and over, not currently self-isolating or showing COVID-19 symptoms, can join the push to get Fylde vaccinated and boosted by the end of December. You’ll be working at a local or mass vaccination centre and can choose the time slots that fit around your work and home life. Time slots are between 4-6 hours and are available at venues across the area, 7 days a week.

Councillor Karen Buckley, Leader of Fylde Council, said: “Our Fylde community are extremely generous and have come together throughout the pandemic to support their friends and neighbours. Charities, churches, and community groups have worked with the council to reach so many people to meet their needs.

“There is now a call for volunteer marshals to come forward to help the accelerated booster vaccine rollout so if you have the time to spare and want to get involved please do come forward.”

If you or anyone you know is interested in this opportunity, please visit the LVP website today: lancsvp.org.uk/opportunities
