Lancashire County Council elections are scheduled to take place on Thursday 1 May 2025. Fylde has six county council divisions – Fylde East, Fylde West, Fylde South, Lytham, St Annes North and St Annes South. Following a recent Community Governance Review, the first elections for both new parish councils (Lytham and Ansdell) will be held on Thursday 1 May 2025.

Be A Councillor
Nomination packs will be available from the Town Hall in March. The deadline for nominations is 4pm on 2 April 2025.

Registering to vote
The deadline to register to vote on Thursday 01 May 2025 is 11:59pm Friday 11 April 2025. If you are not registered to vote, please visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Postal Vote
The deadline to apply for a new postal vote, a new postal proxy vote or to make any changes to any type of existing absent vote is 5pm Monday 14 April 2025. Applications can be completed online at www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
Proxy Vote
The deadline to apply for a new proxy vote is 5pm Wednesday 23 April 2025. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
Voter Authority Certificate (Photo ID)
