All businesses are required by Law, to manage and dispose of their waste responsibly. The removal of waste from non-domestic premises is a separate chargeable service. It is not included within your Business Rates. The Council offers a bulk bin and grey sack collection service for commercial customers at reasonable rates. However, other registered collection companies operate within the Borough and customers are not obliged to use the Council service. If you do not dispose of your waste via a registered carrier, you are breaking the Law.

The trade waste collection service is operated from Monday to Friday (inclusive)
Grey Sack Collection
This service is offered to small to medium businesses (such as shops, offices etc.)
Commercial waste is collected in the Council’s official grey sacks only.
Sack Collection Cost: (Prices valid from 1st April until 31st March)
Grey Sacks – Roll of 50 – £92.00
Blue Sacks – Roll of 50 – £50.10

Bulk Bin Collection
This service is available to larger businesses (restaurants, hotels etc). Trade waste is stored and collected in bulk bin containers that are emptied as arranged, by a specialised collection vehicle.
Bulk Bin Collection Costs (Prices valid from 1st April until 31st March)
1x 660L – £12.74 (holds 8-10 bags)
1x 1100L – £20.83 (holds 12-15 bags)
Additional collections will follow the charging structure above but can be pre booked through our website or Customer Services with a card payment. Please note if you require regular additional collections you may need to increase your collection frequency or lease another bin.
Bulk Bin Charges (Prices valid from 1st April until 31st March)
Euro Bins can be purchased at a cost of £520
Euro Bins can be leased at a charge of £142.12 per annum
