Fylde Council invites you to capture the magical festive spirit of Ashton Gardens Christmas Markets and share your most enchanting photograph with us this holiday season!
The lucky winner will receive a £50 Shop Local voucher to spread Christmas cheer at participating shops. The voucher must be redeemed by 31 March 2026.
All valid entries will be placed into Santa’s special random generator, with one lucky winner drawn at random after the competition closes. The winner will be announced on Monday 15 December, just in time for Christmas shopping!
How to Enter
Entry Period: Friday 5 December (4:00pm) – Friday 12 December 2025 (11:59pm)
Entry Methods:
- Comment with your festive photograph on the competition post from Discover Fylde on Facebook
- Non-social media users may submit their entry by emailing listening@fylde.gov.uk
Entry Requirements:
- One entry per person
- Photograph must be taken at Ashton Gardens Christmas Markets between Friday 5 December and Sunday 7 December
- By entering, you grant Fylde Council and partners royalty-free usage rights for your photograph
Prize Collection & Notification
- The winner will be contacted via Facebook Messenger or email within 7 days of the announcement
- The winner must respond within 7 days to claim their festive prize, or it will be forfeited
- Collection or delivery of the voucher will be arranged after the winner has been notified.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, with no cash alternative
Eligibility & Conditions
- Entrants must be residents of the UK and aged 18 or over
- This competition is not open to employees or families of employees of Fylde Borough Council
- Competition is free to enter, no purchase necessary
- Late entries will not be accepted
- Winners agree to have their first name and photograph shared across Fylde Council and Discover Fylde’s social media channels, and in the Fylde Council Residents’ Newsletter
- Fylde Borough Council reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition if circumstances beyond our control require it
- The judges’ decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into
- Entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions
