Jack Waters, Health and Sports Development Officer at Fylde Council, said: “This year’s awards were truly inspiring.  We saw an all-time high in entry numbers, with over 330 nominations from across Fylde. It was incredibly difficult to whittle these down to a shortlist and the eventual winners were extremely deserving.

“As always, the evening was a resounding success, and I want to thank everyone that has been part of the Fylde Community Sports Awards this year.”

Councillor Chris Dixon, Lead Member for Social Wellbeing, added: “Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Fylde Community Sports Awards. From grassroots clubs to individual achievements, each winner demonstrates the strength of sport in Fylde and its power to bring people together, promote wellbeing, and inspire the next generation.

“You should all be incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished – you’re an inspiration to us all.”
