Residents across Fylde can now check bin collection dates, report missed collections and manage garden waste subscriptions through one simple online account, following the launch of the Council’s new digital platform, Bartec.
The system, which went live in November 2025, makes accessing waste services significantly easier for all households across the borough. Residents are now able to register up to three properties under a single account, perfect for those helping elderly relatives and neighbours or managing rental properties.
Since launching, those residents that have already created their free accounts are benefitting from features including next-day missed bin reporting, direct requests for assisted collections and seamless garden waste subscription management.
“Residents tell us they want simpler ways to access Council services,” said Councillor Michelle Morris, Lead Member for Customer and Operational Services. “This new system delivers exactly that – now, you can manage all of your waste services with just one account. It’s quicker, simpler and more efficient.”
Create a free account in minutes at waste.fylde.gov.uk. Support for those requiring digital assistance remains available via listening@fylde.gov.uk and through the resources on our dedicated webpage.
This digital transformation aligns with the council’s commitment to modernising services while maintaining accessibility for all community members.
