Families across Fylde can look forward to a spectacular festive weekend as Ashton Gardens hosts its enchanting Christmas Markets from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 December, bringing the magic of Christmas right to the heart of St Annes.
The three-day celebration will see the gardens transformed into a traditional Christmas village, complete with over 30 artisan stalls showcasing unique gifts and crafts from Bespoke Events’ talented traders. Visitors can browse handmade treasures in charming wooden chalets while enjoying live entertainment, with performances scheduled throughout the weekend.
This wonderful community event has been made possible through partnership funding from Fylde Council, St Annes Town Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, demonstrating a shared commitment to bringing festive joy to our residents and supporting local businesses during the crucial Christmas trading period.
“These Christmas Markets will create a truly magical experience for families while showcasing everything that makes St Annes special,” said Councillor Jayne Nixon, Lead Member for Tourism, Leisure and Culture. “Combined with free parking across the town that weekend and the fantastic festive offerings from our local shops, cafes and restaurants, we’re creating the perfect Christmas destination right on our doorstep!”
Children will delight in meeting Father Christmas, with charitable donations helping spread festive cheer even further, while parents can warm up with mulled wine. Small funfair rides will add extra sparkle for younger visitors, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
The markets arrive just one week after St Annes’ Christmas light switch-on on Saturday 29 November, extending the festive celebrations and giving residents and visitors another reason to explore our vibrant town centre.
The Christmas Markets will be open Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. For more details about festive events in Fylde, visit: https://www.discoverfylde.co.uk/events/
