Free School Uniform Pop-Up Shops Return to Fylde this Summer

Fylde Council are proud to announce the return of a series of uniform pop-up shops in St Annes and Kirkham this summer, offering free school uniforms to families in need to ensure that every child starts the school year equipped and confident.

The pop-up shops have been made possible thanks to the incredible support of local organisations. Uniforms have been kindly donated by Homestart, who have been diligently collecting items over the years to ensure that families can access what they need.

The St Annes Pop-Up Shop will be supported by the Well Community Hub and iHOPE, who will also continue to store any remaining uniforms and distribute these to families in need in the lead up to Christmas.

Meanwhile, the Kirkham Pop-Up Shop will be supported by the United Reformed Church and the Fylde Foodbank in Kirkham, whose ongoing commitment to the community makes initiatives like this possible.

St Annes Pop-Up Shop

The Well Community Centre, 92 St Albans Road, St Annes, FY8 1UZ, will host the pop-up shop on the following dates:

• Monday 11 August, 2pm-6pm
• Tuesday 12 August, 2pm-6pm
• Wednesday 13 August, 2pm-6pm
• Thursday 14 August, 2pm-6pm
• Friday 15 August, 2pm-6pm

Kirkham Pop-Up Shop

Kirkham United Reformed Church, 82 Poulton Street, Kirkham, PR4 2AH, will host the pop-up shop on the following dates:

• Monday 18 August, 1pm-4pm
• Tuesday 19 August, 1pm-4pm
• Thursday 21 August, 3pm-6pm
• Tuesday 26 August, 1pm-4pm
• Thursday 28 August, 3pm-6pm
• Friday 29 August, 1pm-4pm

Members of the community are encouraged to donate new and gently used uniforms in good condition. Donation drop off points are as follows:

• Fylde Council, St Annes Town Hall – during opening hours
• Kirkham Morrisons – during opening hours
• Fylde Food Bank, Kirkham (Citizens Advice Office) – during opening hours
