The festive season is set to sparkle in Kirkham as the town gears up for its annual Christmas launch event.

On Saturday 25th November, the heart of Kirkham will come alive with Christmas cheer, offering a day packed with entertainment and activities for the entire family.

The main road will be closed, and lined with stalls, from 9.30am until 7.00pm. A vibrant procession, which starts at 12:45pm, will feature a dazzling array of performers, dancers and even a visit from the much-anticipated duo of Father Christmas and the mischievous Grinch.

Families can expect a magical spectacle as the procession winds its way through the town centre, setting the stage for a day filled with joy and wonder. A myriad of activities awaits attendees, with something for everyone.

Children will be delighted by the presence of Santa’s Grotto, elves and children’s entertainers, while the young and young-at-heart can revel in the excitement of the snow machine, adding a seasonal touch to the festivities.

Superheroes will also descend on the town to mark the event. Spider-Man, Batman, Iron man and Deadpool will be meeting and greeting fans throughout the day.

Face painting will also be available for those wanting to add some extra holiday spirit to their look.

In addition to the entertainment, visitors can explore the magical Christmas market featuring over 40 stalls.

There will be a huge range of local businesses including hot food stalls, dessert stalls, wine bars, artists showcasing their work, Christmas crafts, gin stalls, woodcraft, pet stalls, cheese, artisan bread, fudge, pies, cakes, sauces, coffee and much more.

This Christmas market provides the perfect opportunity for attendees to find unique gifts and indulge in festive treats.

Organisers at the Kirkham Business Group are thrilled to bring together such a comprehensive line-up of activities and stalls, ensuring that the Kirkham Christmas event will be a memorable and joyous occasion for the entire community.
