All local planning authorities are required to prepare a ‘Statement of Community Involvement’ (SCI). The SCI sets out what consultation will take place with members of the public, statutory consultees and other stakeholders in the formulation of planning policy documents and in the determining of planning applications. On 11 March 2020 Fylde’s Planning Committee agreed to formally adopt the current SCI.
The 2020 SCI replaces the previous SCI which was adopted in June 2016.
