Fylde Borough Council are teaming up with Lytham St Annes Photographic Society for a second year for the Fairhaven Photography competition. After the success of last year, we are once again inviting people to submit their images of Fairhaven showcasing the parks people, heritage and wildlife!
To help you along the way the Lytham St Annes photographic Society will be running a photography workshop on Saturday 13th June at Fairhaven Lake from 10am to 12pm, they will help you get to grips with the camera, look at composition and ensure you get the most out of your shots. Spaces are limited so please book at the RSPB Discovery Centre.
This year there are some changes to the competition, the theme for the competition is ‘Outdoor Fun’ and we request that all images have been taken this year, are titled and in JPEG format. The best images in each category will be printed and displayed when the winners will be announced in September.
Activity Development Officer, Julie Vale said, “Fairhaven holds so many special memories for people and they always say it’s because of the fun they have had here, we want the images to reflect that this year! We can’t wait to see everyone’s images and what they love most about the park!”
The competition will be split into four categories, under 12’s, 12-8 years, adult non LSAPS member and adult LSAP members. A maximum of 3 images per person can be submitted, please email digital copies of your images julie.vale@fylde.gov.uk by the 30th August 2020.
