Last week, thanks to the wonderful people at Mars the Fylde Community Hub received a donation of Easter eggs. Prior to this generous donation, any Easter eggs have been added to food parcels for the vulnerable and given to volunteers as a thank you for their support, and receiving this donation of eggs has meant they can continue to be added to the food parcels.

The Council recognises that Fylde has a higher than average elderly population with many cared for in residential and nursing homes across the Borough.  Therefore, we would like to say thank you to those care workers for your support to our elderly residents by dropping off Easter eggs for you and the residents to enjoy. Stock is limited however so please contact us via our Community Hub telephone line as soon as possible 01253 658448.

Fylde Council Director Tracy Manning who has been leading in council’s humanitarian response during the current health crisis visited The Methodist Homes Association’s Starr Hills Residential Care Home recently to thank them for their support.  Tracy is pictured at a social distance, from Starr Hill’s Manager Tony.
