Fylde Council Christmas 2022 Arrangements

The Fylde Council telephone lines will close at 1:00pm on Friday 23rd December, and the Town Hall will close at 12:30pm on the same day. Both will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January at 8:30am. During this time, you can still contact us by email at listening@fylde.gov.uk, on Facebook and Twitter, and via Your Fylde Account

Waste and Recycling

There will be no green bin collections from Monday 19th December to Saturday 31st December 2022. Normal collections will resume from 2nd January 2023.

Please note the Fylde Bulky Waste collection service will be closed over Christmas from 12.30pm on Friday the 23rd December and will re-open at 8.30am on Tuesday the 3rd of January 2023.

Benefit Payment Changes

There are no changes to housing benefit payments over the Christmas period. Please see below.

  • If your normal payment is due on Friday 23rd December, this will credit your account as normal
  • If your normal payment is due on Friday 30th December, this will credit your account as normal
  • If your normal payment is due on Friday 6th January, this will credit your account as normal
