We know this is a difficult time for many of our residents and that that the COVID pandemic had a significant impact on their ability to pay, including the most vulnerable members of our society. If you are struggling to pay your Council Tax then you should ensure you claim all of the benefits that you are entitled to.
Other things to consider
Change your instalments
You can arrange to pay your Council Tax monthly by Direct Debit. You can choose from three dates within the month to pay when it is more convenient for you to do so.
The dates are 5, 18 or the last day of the month. If your payment day falls over a weekend or a public bank holiday then we will collect the payment on the next working day. The majority of our residents pay by Direct Debit – sign up today and never miss a payment.
